Hidden Treasure in Leavenworth!
Found this place as we were walking down one of the side streets. It is located down a set of stairs and is darling...very homey and comfortable. Apparently it is a favorite of the locals and we were very happy we stumbled upon it! All the food is homemade by the owner (who was very personable). I had a Chicken Veggie Quesadilla with Coconut Curry Soup and both were AMAZING! The quesadilla contained black beans, red & green peppers, chicken, and mushrooms in addition to the cheeses. It was served with a large amount of sour cream and guacamole. The soup was flavorful and excellent. The service was friendly & attentive and the prices were great! The food was SO good we went back the following day for breakfast and it was just as good! GREAT food-GREAT prices!

Great diner in Leavenworth
We stopped by for dinner to enjoy great Ruben sandwiches made from slow roasted corn beef on rye. Both the bread and beef were locally sourced, crafted by the chef/owner and totally delicious. Reasonable prices, friendly service and awesome homestyle food (where Mom is a 5 star chef) make this tiny cafe a treasure worth the hunt!

We came upon this gem
We were actually looking for another restaurant when we came upon this gem. We figured why not give it a try. It's rather hidden down a set of stairs so you really have to be looking for it. Once you step in it's a charming setting. The owner had recommended the pork loin with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and veggies, of course we could not pass up this option. It ended up being a phenomenal choice, a very hearty portion that satisfied all taste buds. We decided to further splurge and order dessert which ended up being the brownie with blackberry ice cream. Just yum! The service could not have been better on every level. We were able to place our order quickly, got the food quickly (salad also came with the dish). Felt like our business was appreciated and the owner even recommended a few places to stay in town when she heard we were looking.
